Use of Color

Lots of Color. The navigation bar and most of the perimeter of the screen is filled in with color, except the body text area (we highly recommend keeping the body text area white).

Examples: APG-DEV.com, JSchorner.com, AllServicesHandyman.com

OR

Lots of White Space. The use of white space gives a website a simple, fresh look.

Examples: AWTI-INC.com, AndreaSteele.com.

Design Elements

White Navigation Bar. Traditionally, navigation bars are a colored to stand out against the body text portion of the website. However, white navigation bars can also be a dramatic, giving a website a contemporary look.

Examples: TCMG.info, TerriSmalls.com, TheGardenRoomVero.com

Floating Navigation Bar/Multi-dimensional effects. Drop shadows and opacity can create a design that appears to have depth and movement. Some objects appear to be “floating” above others on the screen.

Examples: PaxRiverAlpacas.com, AllServicesHandyman.com, HDS-Andalusians.com

Use of Thin Lines. Used to define space without a heavy amount of color, thin lines can create a simple “breath of fresh air” look.

Examples: TheArtofCharlesCurry.com, AlexMcFarland.com, TCMG.info

Use of photos in the header (top banner area). This look is very classy and can give your website an emotional dimension. If you would like photos worked into your top banner, please email those to us at graphics@pdgo.com We do have a limited number of stock photos available.

Examples: JSchorner.com, TheGardenRoomVero.com, ChristisFamilyFitness.com, PalmPointeRealty.com
